Adrien Fortin

• On August 16, 2026, at Alma, at the age of 95, Mr. Adrien Fortin, husband of Mrs. Solange Duchesne, residing in Alma, passed away. He was the son of the late Mr. Roméo Fortin and Mrs. Marie-Ange Asselin.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Residence Funéraire Lac-St-Jean, 611, chemin du Pont Taché Nord, Alma. The farewell ceremony will take place on the same day at 3:30 PM at the Chapelle Marc Richard. Those who wish can participate in and view the live broadcast of the ceremony. Mr. Fortin has been entrusted to the crematorium.

He is survived by his wife Solange Duchesne, his children Sylvain (Claire Bouchard), Jocelyn (Linda Girard), Martine (Alain Thivierge), the late Caroline, Claudine (Denis Pineault), and Martin (Karine Gagnon); his grandchildren Éric, Dominique, Jean-Benoit, Catherine, Hélène, Samuel, Pascal, Geneviève, Annick, and Kellyanne, as well as his great-grandchildren Joanie, Sarah-Maude, Émilie, François, Florence, Daphné, Victoria, Kimberly, Justin, Rosalie, Élya, Eyden, Evan, Kellya, Mélodie, Alice, and Maverick. He also leaves to mourn the members of the Fortin and Duchesne families, along with many nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.

The family thanks Dr. Nicolas Perron and all the staff at Alma Hospital for the care given to Mr. Fortin.
