Alynne Kline McLeod

23 septembre 2026 Dignity Memorial

Alynne “Lynne” Kendal Kline-McLeod of Clayton NC, formerly of Wake Forest NC, was born September 7th,1953, in Chambersburg, PA, passed away September 23rd, 2026 at the age of 73.

Lynne married Daniel “Cecil” McLeod on October 5th, 1985, who preceded her in death on September 28th, 1998. She is survived by her eldest brother Athley P. Kline and youngest sibling Alan Kline.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Mischa A. Hardee, granddaughter Isadora Rae Hardee “Izzy”, and husband Bradley Hardee, as well as Regina B. King-Snodgrass, granddaughter Gabriella Alynne Snodgrass “Lollie”, and husband Michael Snodgrass.

Lynne dedicated 34 years of service to the United States Postal Service, where she built a career marked by commitment and devotion to her community. She retired as a Postmaster in May 2019 leaving a lasting impact from her dedication, hard work, and service.

As the Matriarch of her family, Lynne raised her daughters with strength you don’t often see anymore. She loved her family without limits, instilling in them virtues and lessons that will remain with them for the rest of their lives. And she loved her granddaughters even more than life itself. Her love will live on through Lollie and Izzy, and the legacy Lynne leaves with them will carry her forward for generations to come.

Lynne always had an open-door policy for everyone in her life. From children who somehow found their way to her doorstep, to the family and friends who surrounded her, there was always room for one more. She only knew how to give and then gave some more.

Her family will forever feel the emptiness left by the piece of them that has now found her way Home to the loved ones who went before her. Lynne leaves a giant hole that cannot be filled in this lifetime. She will be missed in the smallest moments, in the everyday things, and in the biggest ones too.

She will always be known as Momma, Gam Gam, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. But to each person who loved her, she was so much more.

Rest High in HIS Glory and in Eternal Peace.

A celebration of life will be held on October 11th, 2026 at 4:00 PM at Christ the King Church. 1082 Amelia Church Rd. Clayton NC 27520
