It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of FEKRI ATTO at the age of 88 years, beloved husband of Afaf Mangalo.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Afaf, his children Louay Atto, Mayada Atto (Nawar Tanakji) and Marwan Atto, his grandchildren Maria, Mirna, Jonathan, Andrew and Maya, his brothers and sisters: late Salim Atto and family, Adel Atto and family, late Josephine Atto and family, late Evelyn Atto and family, Souad Atto and family, Suhaila Atto and family, late Zuhair and family, and Waleed Atto and family, may other relatives and friends.
The visitation will take place at St. Jacob of Nisibis and Virgin Mary Syriac Orthodox Cathedral, 7 Blvd. Desjardins West, St. Thérèse, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Jacob of Nisibis and Virgin Mary Syriac Orthodox Cathedral.
Burial to follow at Laval Cemetery, 5505 Rang du Bas St-François, Laval QC, H7C 0E4.
Donations in his memory, may be made to the St. Jacob of Nisibis and Virgin Mary Syriac Orthodox Cathedral.
