Obituary

Bertrand Claveau, age 84, passed away on July 10, 2026, in Alma. He was the beloved husband of the late Charlaine Rousseau, and father to Jean (Wendy Young), Dany (Valérie Tremblay), and Joël (Marie-Mychelle Desbiens). He is also survived by his grandchildren Kate, Joey, Lory, Jake, and great-grandchildren Lily and Emmy.

Bertrand was the son of the late Henri Claveau and Hélène Lavoie. He was a resident of Alma and formerly of St-Cœur-de-Marie. His funeral service took place at La Grandmontoise, Saint-Gédéon, on July 10, 2026, from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The celebration of his life was held at 3:30 pm.

He was laid to rest at the Saint-Gédéon cemetery. He was a cherished figure in his community, leaving behind numerous relatives and friends.
