Cheri Lynne Tomaski

Cheri Lynne Tomaski, 75, passed away on September 22, 2026. Born April 20, 1951, Cheri lived in Pearland, Texas.

Cheri graduated from Mount Miguel High School, Class of 1969, where she was part of the drill team—an early reflection of the steady dedication and consideration she carried throughout her life.

In 1971, Cheri married Tom Turner. Together they welcomed three sons—Jesse, Jim, Jake and her daughter-in-law, Jenn Turner. (the loves of her life). She was also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, Kaylee, Hayden, and Clayton. Around 2010, Cheri married Jay Tomaski and, with him, embraced a blended family that included his three children, Michelle, Natalie, and Craig. In every season of family life, Cheri was a beloved and cherished presence—thoughtful in her care, honest in her counsel, and generous in the quiet ways that mattered most.

Cheri found joy in arranging flowers, creating beauty with a gentle touch and an attentive eye. She also loved to travel with her late husband, with meaningful time spent across Texas, California, and Virginia. Just as important to her was the simple gift of togetherness: Cheri loved to throw parties, to host guests, and to bring people together—opening her home and her heart with a selfless warmth that made others feel welcome.

Cheri also served as a 4-H Leader, offering her time and energy in a way that reflected her enduring commitment to others. Friends and family will remember how easily she put people at ease, how deeply she listened, and how naturally she engaged in conversation—making those around her feel understood and valued.

Cheri’s legacy is one of kindness and steady generosity, a life shaped by thoughtfulness and guided by care for others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
