Conrado Fernandez Marasigan

27 septembre 2026 Dignity Memorial

Conrado Marasigan, C.E., P.E., age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 27, 2026, in San Diego, California.

Conrado was born on September 3, 1943, in Calauag, Quezon, Philippines to Pacita and Ciriaco Marasigan. He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas on June 27, 1964 with a degree in Civil Engineering Science. Driven by his passion, he immigrated to the United States, first establishing roots in Lombard, Illinois, before eventually finding his forever home in San Diego, California. Along this journey, he married the love of his life Teresita. From there, he went on to have a long, dedicated, and passionate career as a civil engineer at Fluor and Sargent & Lundy. Over 60 years of marriage, the couple welcomed and raised four children in a home filled with love. Conrado dedicated his life to teaching them the values of deep faith, family unity, and hard work. His children remember him as a devoted father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Conrado was a loving and generous man; someone whom everyone around him admired and looked up to. He was everyone’s go to handyman and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Guided by deep faith, love, and passion, he gave so much of himself to those he cherished, leaving a lasting mark on every life and project he touched. While he helped design and build magnificent structures that still stand tall today as an accomplished civil engineer, his greatest masterpiece was his family. With that same engineering passion and care, he built up his children, grandchildren, and friends into the people they are today.

Conrado’s legacy lives on through his beloved wife of 60 years, Teresita Marasigan. He is survived by his children, Carlos Marasigan and his wife Gilda Marasigan, Conrad Marasigan

and his wife Faith Isidro, Cindy Marasigan and her husband Julio Bonilla, Cristina Elegado and her husband Randy Elegado; and his cherished grandchildren, Christine Elegado, Ryan Elegado, Julian Bonilla, and grand-dogs Auggie and Rex. He is now at rest with his parents, his brother William Marasigan, his children Pio, Pia, and Cesar Marasigan, and his beloved dogs Spanky and Piboy
