Constantina Venetis, 94, of Grevena, Greece, passed away on September 22, 2026, in Wheeling, Illinois with her children by her bedside.
Constantina was born in Grevena, Greece to Maria and Archilles Farmakis on June 20, 1932. She married Christos Venetis in Napoli, Greece. She was involved in the church community, helped raise her grandchildren, loved to bake Greek dishes and pastries, and supported her son at the family business, Leoni’s Pizzeria.
Constantina is preceded in death by her husband, Christos Venetis.
Constantina is survived by her daughter, Paraskeve Venetis; son, Thomas Venetis; daughter-in-law, Joanne Venetis; grandchildren, Constandina Venetis, Christos Venetis, George Venetis, Ipatios Hidiroglou and Vaso Hidiroglou; and great grandchild, Anastasios Hidiroglou.
Visitation will be Monday September 28, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Naples, Florida. Immediately following visitation, funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM.
Burial will precede at Naples Memorial Gardens, located at 525 111th Ave N. Naples, Florida 34108.
In lieu of flower contributions, donations may be made to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Constantina Venetis.
