Daniel Bouchard

The obituary indicates that Mr. Daniel Bouchard, aged 75 years and 8 months, passed away on August 25, 2026, at the Maison de soins palliatifs du Saguenay. He was the husband of Mrs. Ginette Poirier and resided in Lac-Kenogami. He was the son of the late Alida Bouchard and the late Charles-Eugène Bouchard.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; and on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi.

A memorial service will be held on August 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Chapelle Chicoutimi, with the funeral taking place at the same location.

Mr. Bouchard leaves behind his wife, Ms. Ginette Poirier, and his children: Stéphane Bouchard and Jonathan Bouchard (Prescilla Perron). He also leaves his granddaughters: Marie-Maude, Julianne, Flavie, and Lou-Ann Bouchard.

He was the brother of the late Yves-Albert Bouchard, the late Nicole (the late Julien Girard), the late Gaétane (the late Ernest Dubois), Laurier (Geneviève Jean), the late Lise (Denis Blouin), Suzanne (Robert Gingras), and the late Mario.

His brothers-in-law include Daniel Poirier (Yolande Dufour), Roland (Violaine Gagné), Nicole (Karl Dubé), Solange (Dany Tremblay), Cécile (the late Lucien Tremblay), Hélène (Kent Dubé), and Pauline (Steve Inglis).

He is also survived by his godchildren Isabelle Girard, Roxanne Dubé, and Mélanie Tremblay, along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. The family thanks the staff of the Hospital of Jonquière and the Maison de soins palliatifs du Saguenay for the care provided.
