Diane Harvey

On June 13, 2026, at the Maison des soins palliatifs du Saguenay, at the age of 79, Mme Diane Harvey, wife of the late Mr. Aurel Potvin, residing in Chicoutimi, formerly of St-Cœur-de-Marie, passed away. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Léopold Harvey and the late dame Cécile Harvey.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday, July 11, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at the Résidence Funéraire Lac St-Jean, 611, chemin du Pont Taché Nord, Alma.

The farewell ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the chapel Marc Richard. Those who wish may participate in the ceremony, which will be broadcast live and available for rediffusion by clicking on the 'diffusion en direct' badge.

Mme Harvey's remains have been entrusted to the crematorium, and her ashes will be deposited at the cemetery of St-Cœur-de-Marie. She leaves behind her children: Stéphane Potvin (Nathalie Lessard), André Potvin (Natalie Bédard and their children: Michael, Maxime, Liane and grandchildren: Zack-Hayden and Lara), Suzie Potvin (Yannick Tremblay); her precious grandchildren: Amy (Samuel Leclerc), Patrick, Catherine (Dereck Racine), Leïla (Philippe Simard), and Jamie, as well as her great-grandson Renaud. She was the sister of Benoît Harvey (Carole Gagné), the late Simone (Marcel Rousseau), Yvon (André Pépin), Richard (Marie-Paule Boily), and Clément (Lynn Noël).

She was the sister-in-law of the late Jean-Eudes Potvin (Margot Lavoie), the late Carol (Suzie Arseneault), the late Marc (Claude Bergeron), Gilles, the late Édith (Jules Bernier), Hélène (Christian Fortin), and Fabienne (Yves Simard). She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
