Obituary

Diane Harvey, née in 1946, passed away on July 10, 2026, at the age of 79. She was the wife of the late Mr. Aurel Potvin and formerly resided in St-Cœur-de-Marie. Daughter of the late Mr. Léopold Harvey and the late Mrs. Cécile Harvey, she died at the Maison des soins palliatifs du Saguenay.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00, and on Saturday, July 11, 2026, starting at 09:00 at the Residence Funéraire Lac St-Jean, located at 611, chemin du Pont Taché Nord, Alma. The farewell service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:30 at the Chapelle Marc Richard. The service will be broadcast live and available for replay.

She leaves behind her children: Stéphane Potvin (Nathalie Lessard), André Potvin (Natalie Bédard and her children: Michael, Maxime, Liane, and her grandchildren: Zack-Hayden and Lara), Suzie Potvin (Yannick Tremblay); her grandchildren: Amy (Samuel Leclerc), Patrick, Catherine (Dereck Racine), Leïla (Philippe Simard), and Jamie, as well as her great-grandson Renaud. She was the sister of Benoît Harvey (Carole Gagné), the late Simone (Marcel Rousseau), Yvon (André Pépin), Richard (Marie-Paule Boily), and Clément (Lynn Noël).
