Donald Émond, aged 71 years and 4 months, passed away on July 5, 2026, at the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac St-Jean, Centre d'hébergement de la Colline. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Cynthia Coté, and the son of the late Louise Dassylva and the late Robert Émond. A family gathering will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi. His ashes will be interred at the St-Alphonse Cemetery in La Baie. Donald leaves behind his wife and numerous family members, friends, nephews, and nieces.
A celebration of farewell will take place on July 16, 2026, at 4 PM at the chapel of the 5e Saison, Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi. The event will be broadcast live and available for replay. Donations can be made to the Foundation of Heart Diseases and Stroke or online at https://www.coeuretavc.ca/.
