Donald Émond passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 71 years and 4 months. He was the husband of Mrs. Cynthia Côté, residing in Chicoutimi. He was the son of the late Louise Dassylva and the late Robert Émond.

Funeral Arrangements

His family will receive friends and family on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex. A celebration of life will be held on the same day at 4 PM at the chapel of the 5th Season. The funeral home will also broadcast the service live online, which will be available for replay.

His ashes will be interred at the St. Alphonse Cemetery in La Baie.

He leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Cynthia Côté, his mother-in-law Mrs. Patricia Hogan (late Réjean Côté, Lionel Côté), and was the brother of Jannick Émond (André Beaudoin), Alain (Madeleine Dorval), Jean (late Lisette Janelle), Serge (deceased), Christiane (Steven Tremblay), Doris (Jacques Imbeault), André, and Vivianne. He was also the brother-in-law of Jonathan and Réjean Côté, and leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
