Dorothy Noble Cosgrove passed away peacefully on September 30 2026.
Dotty was born in Kansas City, MO. on August 31 1920, to Ruth and Harold Noble. She was raised in Kansas City, where she attended Border Star, Bryant and Southwest High Schools. Dotty later attended the University of Kansas, pledging Kappa Alpha Theta. There she met her future husband, John (Jack) Cosgrove. They were together for 72 Years. They moved from Kansas City in 1967 and returned to Kansas City after retirement to be closer to family. Jack passed away in 2014.
Dotty is survived by her two children. Cynde and husband Art Brookfield, Hal and wife Barbara Cosgrove. Five grandchildren, Chris and wife AJ Cosgrove, Cary and husband Tripp Miller, Arthur (Biff) Brookfield and wife Cathy, Tyler and wife Stacy Brookfield and Cameron and wife Newell Brookfield, also 11 great-grandchildren-Quinn, Chase, Cooper, Caitlyn, Chloe , Delaney, Dutton, JT Beau, Luke and Sally.
Private Family Services will be held at Mt Moriah Cemetery, Chapel of Hope Mausoleum, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131 where Dorothy will be placed with her husband.
