Eleanor Alice "Tinker" Meyer Sullivan passed away peacefully on her 80th birthday, July 19, 2026.\n\nBorn on July 19, 1946, to Guido Meyer and Louise Jenkins Meyer, Tinker lived a life defined by kindness, grace, and deep devotion to her family and friends. She is survived by the love of her life, her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Sullivan, with whom she shared 49 wonderful years of marriage. She is also survived by her son, Dave Pavlock and his wife, Shelley; their beloved children, Gretchen and her husband, Ethan, and Griffin; her stepdaughters, DeDe Sullivan and Shelly Essex and her husband, Chad; and their beloved children, Ansley, Austin and his wife, Grace. She is also survived by her siblings, Peggy Meyer of Austin, Guido "Buddy" Meyer of Houston, and Marilyn Meyer of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guido and Louise Meyer, and her dear sister, Debbie Taylor. Tinker found great joy in spending time with her family and adored her beloved cats. She and Bob shared a love of travel, creating treasured memories as they explored the country together in their RV and formed lasting friendships along the way. She also enjoyed dancing, shopping, and celebrating life's special moments with those she loved. Her warm smile, sparkling green eyes, gentle spirit, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. While her family mourns her passing, they find comfort in the countless memories she created and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered prayers, kindness, and support during this difficult time as they celebrate Tinker's life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to an animal shelter or rescue organization of your choice in memory of Tinker. Her love for animals, especially her beloved cats, was one of the many joys of her life, and this would be a beautiful way to honor her memory.
