Felicia Adanfo

Felicia Adanfo, age 57, was born on February 4, 1969, and was called to Glory on August 17, 2026.Felicia attended Have Technical School and Teachers Training in Winneba, Ghana. She also studied Fashion Design at St. Ann's Vocational Technical Institute in Noaso. Her life reflected steady purpose and diligence—marked by a strong work ethic, patience, and a quiet wisdom that shaped both her path and the many lives she touched.Felicia served as a High School Teacher and Educator, and even in her final season she remained devoted to that calling. She was not only a teacher of school studies, but a teacher of peace; her presence carried gentleness and sincerity, and her way of meeting others—with compassion, fairness, and a nonretaliatory spirit—made people feel both guided and safe. Her resilience and bravery were evident not in grand declarations, but in the consistent, thoughtful way she showed up for others.Felicia was a devout Christian and served as a Presbyter at Global Evangelical Church Kpassa. Her faith was the foundation of her life, expressed through generosity, selflessness, and a deep, empathetic care for those around her. She was known for her hospitality and kind heart, welcoming others with warmth and a steady calm. She loved cooking, singing, music, and fashion design, and she carried an energetic spirit and a gentle humor that brought lightness to everyday moments. Beautiful in both presence and character, she was beloved and cherished by many.Felicia was devoted to her family. She is survived by her husband, Edward Suru Abba; her daughter, Rhoda Abba; her grandchildren, Abike Lawal and Ayotunde Lawal; and her son-in-law, Olakunle Lawal. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Delight Lawal (of blessed memory).In her life, Felicia left a legacy of caring and encouragement, often reminding those she loved to “leave it all up to God.” Her example remains inspirational—faithful, honest, peace loving, and deeply thoughtful—offering a lasting model of how to live with compassion and courage.She suddenly took ill in transit while traveling from Ghana to Houston to see her daughter and grandchildren in Houston. She tragically passed away shortly thereafter in the hospital in Washington D.C.First we thank the almighty God, the Creator of ALL, and we thank the entire Ghanaian community that has stood and supported us through this unexpected and tragic time.
