Ghislain Lespérance

Obituary:

On June 15, 2026, at the Jonquière Hospital, Ghislain Lespérance, age 82 years and 9 months, of Jonquière, passed away. He was the son of the late Mme Candide Bergeron and the late M. Jean-Baptiste Lespérance.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Complexe funéraire Rive-Nord (Ste-Claire). A celebration of the Word will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 4 pm at the Chapel of the Complexe funéraire Rive-Nord. His ashes will be deposited at the Emery Gravel columbarium immediately after the celebration.

He leaves in mourning his children: Dany Lespérance (Marie-Josée Gaudet), Nancy (Michel Beauregard), and Nadine (deceased Etienne Gaudreault); his mother Bérangère Savard;

his grandchildren: David Lespérance (Coralie Bouchard), Charles-Olivier Lespérance, Valérie Beauregard (Raphaël Morasse), Jean-Michel Beauregard (Kim Perron), Thomas Blackburn (Maryka Jobin), and Gabriel Blackburn;

his great-grandchildren: Victor, Charlie-Rose, Sophie-Anne, Marie-Félix, and Elliot.

He was the brother of: the late Alain Lespérance, the late Nicole (André Simard), Gaétane (Jean-Noël Bouchard), the late Michel (Micheline Tremblay), the late Line (Laurent Simard), the late Pauline (the late Clément Savard), Doris (Daniel Harvey), the late Gilbert (Claire Migneault), the late Mathias (Lise Simard), Bruno (deceased Doris Simard), Fabienne, and Manon (Paul Gagné).

He also leaves many nephews and nieces, relatives, and friends.

The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Jonquière Hospital for their support, attention, and the good care they provided.

Memorial donations can be made to the Fondation Santé Jonquière. A volunteer will be present at the funeral home to collect donations. Donations can also be made online via the secure website.
