Harvey Cameron Flowers, 93 of New Carlisle, Quebec passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026 at the CHSLD, New Carlisle with loved ones by his side.
Born on May 23, 1933 in New Carlisle, he was the son of the late Cameron and Melvina Flowers.
Harvey worked as a dedicated bridgeman for 33 years for Canadian National Railways, where he was admired for his quick thinking and problem solving.
In 1954, he married his loving wife, Janie Crozier. Harvey is survived by his wife of 72 years, his children: Tom, Christine (Luc), Terry (Maureen), Timothy, Vivian (Gerald), Brenda (Dean), Rodney (Kim), Harvey Jr. (Lori) and his 27 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, two sisters and his beloved grandson.
Harvey was known for his social skills and was a pillar within his community. He was extremely proud of his family. His warm smile and generous heart will be missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the CHSLD for all the care and love they provided over the past two years.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
