Janice C. Thompson, 78, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2026.Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 32 years, Charles Grover Thompson III, as well as her parents, David and Frances Cloyd.Surviving are her children, David Thompson and daughter-in-law, Wendy Thompson, Rebecca Hillmann and son-in-law Darren Hillmann, and Kathryn Thompson; her grandchildren, Aaron Hillmann, Bethany Hillmann, Robert Hillmann, Ethan Thompson, Aiden Thompson, Ryan Edmiston, and Everett Thompson; her sisters Susan Wheeler and brother-in-law Kenneth Wheeler, Kathryn Tucker and brother-in-law Houston Tucker, and Betty Murray and brother-in-law Patrick Murray; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Cloyd. Janice is also preceded in death by her younger brother, Richard Cloyd.Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 186 Shelton Shop Rd, Stafford, Virginia 22554.A Celebration of Life will take place at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service. Interment will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, Virginia.
