Jerome J. 'Jerry' Logero, age 85, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Chippewa Township, passed on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at his residence. Born June 7, 1941, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Jesse and Elsie (Kontetta) Logero. Jerry was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid golfer, and was a member of Deer Trails Country Club in Industry, PA. He was a member of the Rochester Turners, the Monaca Sportsmans Club, and retired from the Xerox Corporation after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rita Gailey-Logero, a daughter, Carla (Carl Mantz) Jenkins, a son, Joseph Logero, a stepdaughter, Dawn (Thomas) Coast, a stepson, Anthony (Christal) Farzo, four grandchildren; Nick, Tad, Natalie and Gianna, and a sister, Roseann Barton.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Laura Painter.
