Josie Donovan

Our loving mother, Josie Donovan (Graci) passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 88. She is the daughter of Calogero and Josephine Graci (Arnone). She was married for 41 years to Thomas Donovan who predeceased her 28 years ago.She is survived by her daughter Jean Ann, son-in-law Edward, her son’s Joseph, daughter-in-law Deborah, Charles, daughter-in-law Rosa, and Thomas, daughter-in-law Michele; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; her sister Antoinette, brother-in-law Paul and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John and sister-in-law Catherine.
She was a paralegal for Manufactures Hanover when she retired.She was a very active participant of the Woodbury Meadows community, and she served as the president for many of years.
She loved to bowl in leagues and tournaments, playing Rummikub, traveling, organizing day trips, and cooking. She was famous for her chicken cutlet parmigiana and meatballs.She collected ballerinas and tea pots.Though she really didn’t watch much TV during the day, she enjoyed TV at night. She liked to watch Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Bowling, Cooking shows, Game shows and Chicago Med, PD and Fire. The only daytime show she enjoyed was the Price is Right.
