Mary Virginia Kittle

22 septembre 2026 Dignity Memorial

Mary Virginia Kittle, of Shelby Township, age 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday morning, surrounded by the love of her family.

Mary was a devoted Christian, who taught Sunday school most of her life. She found great joy in serving others, and was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she cherished the time spent worshiping, studying the Bible, and gathering with her church family.

Nothing brought Mary greater happiness than her family. She adored being a grandmother and great-grandmother and treasured every opportunity to have her loved ones together. Each week, her daughter and grand daughters would gather to play cards and have Bible study. They remained very close throughout the years went on many trips especially to Frankenmuth to explore, always making sure to end the trip with a great chicken dinner, Blake’s Cider mill for all of their summer festivals, and many other adventures together.

Mary had a gift for making ordinary moments special. She could open the pantry, and somehow turn whatever she could find into a meal big enough for the family, however many unexpected guests came along, almost like she’d been waiting for you all day. She loved tending to her flower garden, which was always beautiful and overflowing with every kind of flower. She also had a special talent for creating ornate, handmade cards that reflected her creativity and thoughtfulness.

She especially cherished the simple times spent beside her husband, enjoying the life they had built together. Mary and her sister, Deborah, remained close throughout their lives. Mary looked forward every opportunity to visit her in Arizona, and always treasured Deborah’s many visits when she came to visit her in Michigan.

Beloved wife of Bradley Kittle for 23 years. Loving mom of Christopher (Marie) Parrish, and Jennifer (Mark) Mazure. Cherished Meemaw of Hannah Mazure, Isaiah Mazure, Sarah Luke, Joshua (Ashley) Mazure, Noah Mazure, Micah Mazure, Elijah Mazure, and Jedidiah Mazure. Great-grandma “Meemaw” of Samuel, Hadassah, Abigail, and she was looking forward to one more great-grandchild on the way. Dear step-mom of Sarah (Kevin) Waldroup and their children James and Mason. Devoted sister of Deborah (Richard) Frusciano. Caring aunt of David Powell, Rich Frusciano Jr., Joseph Frusciano, and Christopher Frusciano. Also survived by her loving dogs Oliver and Daisy.
