It's with sadness that the family announces the death of Madame Fleurette Ladouceur of Saint-André-Avellin, who passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at the age of 104. Formerly married to the late Paul-Émile Meunier. Daughter of the late Alphonse Ladouceur and Louisa Proulx.
She was the beloved mother of Madeleine (Mario Raymond), the adored grandmother of Stéphanie Martel (André Bureau) and Steve Martel, great-grandmother of Marie-Jade, Jean-Philippe, Coralie, Céderick, and Mégane, and great-great-grandmother of Charlotte.
She was predeceased by her son Daniel, her granddaughter Caroline, and several brothers and sisters. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
A special thanks to Stéphanie who took excellent care of her grandmother for fifteen wonderful years and to the staff at the CHSLD de la Petite-Nation for their delicate attentions and excellent care.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Complexe Funéraire Familial de la Petite-Nation Shields Berthiaume, 101, rue Principale, St-André-Avellin, Quebec, (819) 983-6616. The funeral will take place at the church of St-Hubert, St-Hubert, Quebec, on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 11 a.m.
