Mme Francine Lalande

Mme Francine Lalande, formerly of Plaisance, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 80. She was the daughter of the late Lucien Lalande and the late Juliette Legris. She was the beloved mother of Annie, Virginie (Peter Stuart), and Alicia Lalande Burbridge; the adored grandmother of Joëlle, David, Robin, and Vincent; and the dear sister of Aline, Gérard, Gisèle (Jean-Guy), Lucie, and Michel (Johanne). She was predeceased by her sister Liliane and her brothers Yves, Robert, and Gaétan. She is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Complexe Funéraire Familial de la Petite-Nation Shields Berthiaume, located at 101, rue Principale, St-André-Avellin, Quebec. A private ceremony will be held with family at a later date. The staff at Résidence Le Monarque provided excellent care to Mme Lalande, for which appreciation is expressed.
