Nancy Sue (Dillingham) Smith, 82, of Nashville, IN, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 13, 2026.
Nancy was born on August 18, 1943, to Medford and Dorthy Dillingham. She graduated from Bloomington High School. She was a homemaker for many years during her children’s youth but later entered the workforce to fund her children’s college education. She retired from Cosco.
Nancy was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was an avid cat lover who enjoyed reading and being outdoors. She will be remembered for her generous heart, unwavering Christian faith, and the love for everyone she met. Her memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children: Kim (Mike) Maus, Rick (Jill) David and Mick David, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation was held on Saturday, July 18, at Bond Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville, IN, followed by a funeral service and burial at Brown County Memorial Park Cemetery.
