Nellie Theresa Norred

Nellie Theresa Norred passed peacefully on September 24, 2026, at the age of 60. Theresa was a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama, born on April 21st, 1966. She is survived by her mother Tula Norred, brother Richard "Buck" Norred, and sister in law Heather Norred. Known to her nieces and nephews as "Sissy," she is remembered by her god-daughter Sophia Annette Norred, Bayard Thomas Norred, Alethia Dwan Norred and Joseph Samuel Norred. She will be greatly missed by her dear friends Ashley and Scott Green. Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Richard Jacques Norred Sr., Grandparents Thomas William Dases, Corinne Collins Dases, Sam Lindsey Norred and Nellie Marjorie Lane Norred. Theresa was employed by the Postal Service, however, her ultimate devotion in life was looking after her father, mother and aunts. She loved her pets dearly and cherished her friends. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Family Catholic Church on October 2nd at 11 am. Rosary at 9:30 am, Visitation for family and friends at 10am. Interment will be at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
