The MAISON FUNERAIRE LEBLANC informs you that Mrs Nettie Aitkens passed away on August 14, 2026 at the age of 88 years. She lived on Entry Island, Iles-de-la-Madeleine.
She was the spouse of late Mr Waldron Welsh and the mother of Bazil (Linda Knock), Holly (late Pierre Boudreau) and Delsey. She had 4 grandchildren : Ronnie Taker (Jackie), Robert Boudreau (Maryann), Jackie Boudreau and Johanne Welsh (Mathieu), and 8 great-grandchildren : Cameron, Brody, Cassidy, Alexis, Dominic, Jade, Ryan and Alice, and 3 great-great-grandchildren : J.J., Rory and Myles. She is survived by sister Gwelda and brothers Melvin, Cecil and Irvin. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the All Saints Memorial Church Tuesday August 18th from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday August 19th from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday August 20th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The religious service will be held at 1 p.m.
