It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nicolina Caltagirone Iacono on Tuesday July 14, 2026, at the age of 90.Born in Catholica Eraclea, on July 30th, 1935, Nicolina lived a life of love, faith, and devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Pietro Iacono.She will be deeply missed by her daughters Leonarda and Maria (Giuseppe) and son Alfonso (Audrey). Cherished grandmother to Marilena, (late Carolina) Pietro, Salvatore (Josie), Nancy (Amedeo), Peter (Nina). Proud great-grandmother to Samantha, Serena, Lorenzo and Luciano.Nicolina will be deeply missed near and far by her sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness.
