Philip John "PJ" DiGennaro III

Philip John “PJ” DiGennaro III, 55, of Medford, NJ, passed away on September 8, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with melanoma.

Born on November 13, 1970, in Nyack, NY, PJ was the beloved son of Philip and Elaine DiGennaro. He graduated from Saint Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, NJ and went on to attend West Virginia University, a place that held a special spot in his heart throughout his life. It was at WVU, where he met his wife, Kim. They went on to build a life together, sharing 31 years of marriage and raising their two daughters, Alexis and Victoria. He was a devoted husband and loving father, and his family was the most important part of his life.

PJ is survived by his wife Kim DiGennaro; daughters, Alexis and Victoria; son-in-law, Jonathan Cole; parents, Phil and Elaine DiGennaro; sister, Lisa Lipo (DiGennaro) and her husband Joe Lipo; in-laws Greg and Jean Luzinski, Ryan and Kerri Luzinski, nieces, Ashlee Luzinski, Megan Lipo, Allison Luzinski; and nephews, Timothy Lipo and Jax Luzinski.

Above all, PJ will be remembered for his sense of humor, strong work ethic, generosity, and the way he always made time for the people he loved. He was a charismatic and trusted leader who took pride in what he built throughout his career. He believed in people, took chances on those who others may have overlooked and gave everyone the opportunity to grow and succeed. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly.
