Rebecca Lynn Raanan

Rebecca Lynn Raanan, 71, was born in Lake Wales, Florida, on December 31, 1954, and passed away early in the morning on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 surrounded by her loving and devoted husband and family. Her parents were Wilbur Lavonne Underhill and Mary T. Underhill. She will be remembered as a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her—marked by quiet bravery, steady wisdom, and a compassionate, kind-hearted way of meeting the world. In all things, Rebecca carried herself with honesty and a selfless devotion to the people she loved, offering care and constancy that will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband, Abraham Raanan; her sons, David Ian Aloia and Brian Aloia; her grandson, Joey Aloia; sisters, Esther O'Brien and Jan Turner; brother, David Underhill; her brother and sister in law, Neil and Touran Weissman; and many nieces and nephews.

A Gathering for Family & Friends will be held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461, on October 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm. A Graveside Service will take place at Lake Worth Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm.
