Regina Lynn Novosad

Regina Lynn Novosad, 64, of Bryan, Texas passed on September 26, 2026 in Houston, Texas following a fierce and courageous battle with metastatic melanoma.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm Monday, October 5 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 6 at St Joseph Catholic Church.

Regina was born on September 16, 1962 in Bryan, Texas to Joe Daniel Novosad and Patricia Fachorn West. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence brought love and meaning to the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

Regina is survived by her beloved daughters, Gina Marie Cruz and husband Joe, Samantha Jo Smith and husband Jerry Arellano. She was a proud grandmother to Joseph Cruz, Tristian Luckie, Connor Luckie, Gianna Cruz, Lillien Luckie, Malachi Arellano and Gabriel Arellano.

She is also survived by her sisters, Rita Frailicks and husband Tim, Renee Medina and husband Robbie and Monica Westmoreland and husband Pat, along with her many cherished nieces and nephews.

Regina was preceded in death by her father, Joe Daniel Novosad; mother, Patricia Fachorn West; stepfather, Loyd Gene West; grandparents, Sam and Lena Fachorn, Sarah Fachorn and Joe and Mary Novosad.

Regina's battle with melanoma was fierce, but so was her spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love carried forward through her daughters, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews and all those whose lives she touched.

Although she is no longer with us, Regina's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

May she rest peacefully, free from pain, and surrounded by the love she gave so freely to others.
