Regla Castillo

Regla Castillo, 60, of Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2026, surrounded by the love that meant so much to her throughout her life.

Regla was born in Cuba on November 1, 1965, and came to the United States with her mom at just two years old. She lived in Florida and Brooklyn before making Yonkers her home. She was a graduate of Yonkers High School and went on to attend Elizabeth Seton College and Lehman College.

Regla spent 16 years as the head receptionist at Fitzgerald and Fitzgerald Law Firm. She was truly one of a kind. She was funny, carefree, outspoken, and wonderfully unfiltered. Her unfiltered personality and infectious sense of humor brought laughter and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She loved cooking, dancing, and spending her time with family and friends.

A proud and devoted football mom, Regla could often be found cheering from the sidelines for the Eastchester Blue Devils and Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, and later the University of Rhode Island and Lock Haven University.

Regla was preceded in death by her father, Marco Castillo. She is survived by her mother, Amy McDaniel, and stepfather, James McDaniel; her children, Jerell Jones and Adrian Pritchett; and a large extended family and many dear friends.

Regla leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, love, and memories that will remain with everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

A Memorial Service will be held at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale, NY 10583, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A Prayer Service will take place at Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
