Ruby Polsky

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, two days shy of his ninety-eighth birthday. Adoring husband of the late Pauline for seventy-five years through thick and thin. Loving father and father-in-law of George and Marilyn (Marcus), Leonard and Heather (Sanderson), Sharon and Steve (Murdock). Proud Zaide of seven: Mitchell and Stephanie, Stewart and Melanie, David and Alexis; Daniel and Caitlin, Katherine and Anthony, Karen and Jeff; and Cassandra. Great-grandfather of ten: Talia, Jackson; Lia, Henry; Lily, Ari; Decker, Easton; Sally, and Lettie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Max and the late Betty Polsky, the late Bennie Polsky, and the late May Polsky; and brother-in-law of Gerson and Sandra Safran. Son of the late Hyman and the late Eva Polsky. Immense gratitude to Tesie Simon for her enduring compassionate care.

Ruby was an entrepreneur, an avid fisherman, and a devoted husband to Pauline. For close to thirty years, they travelled across Canada by motor home to visit customers, making meaningful connections along the way. Ruby will be missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.
