Sandra Anne O'Connell

Sandra Anne O’Connell 83 passed away peacefully Friday September 26, 2026 at the White Hills long term care center.

Sandra was predeceased by Francis and Rita (Sampson) O’Connell, sisters Elaine, Joyce and brothers Roy, Carl and Harold. Sandra is survived by brother David (Jane), sister Shirley (Mitchell) and many nieces and nephews.

Growing up Sandra attended Saint Mary’s school for girls and enjoyed helping her mom run a household. On weekends Sandra would take her nephew David and niece Roselene to the public gardens and at home she loved her TV shows, her pets and a cup of tea. You could find Sandra attending service at Saint Mary’s Basilica weekly, family was very important and she loved holiday family gatherings.

A celebration of life will take place at Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home located at 2666 Windsor Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia October 20, 2026 at 11:00am.
