Stephen F. Drozd

25 septembre 2026 Dignity Memorial

Stephen F. Drozd, a longtime resident of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away peacefully the morning of Friday, September 25, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories shared with those who knew and loved him. He was born in North Tarrytown, NY, to the late Stephen F. and Roberta Drozd.

He spent many years working at the General Motors Plant in Tarrytown before continuing his career as a wine salesman and later as a carpenter. He took pride in the work he did and in providing for the people he cared about.

But perhaps the greatest part of Stephen's story was the love he shared with Laura Costantini, the love of his life. Their relationship was a special and meaningful part of who Stephen was, and the memories they made together will remain close to Laura's heart. He was not always the easiest man — and he probably would have been the first to admit that — but he was someone whose presence mattered deeply.

Stephen will be missed for so much more than the things he did. He will be missed for his voice, his humor, his opinions, his ornery ways, and the little things that made him uniquely Stephen. Those who loved him will remember the man beneath the crankiness: the man with a good heart, a quick wit, and a capacity to make people laugh and feel connected.

Stephen is survived by his beloved Laura Costantini. He is also survived by his stepmother Judy Vlad and her children. He will be lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. Though his absence will leave an emptiness in the lives of those who knew him, the memories of his laughter, his personality, and the love he gave in his own unmistakable way will remain.
