Thérèse Pedneault

Date of Death: 16 May 2026, at age 86 years and 11 months, at CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Chicoutimi Hospital.

Thérèse Pedneault, wife of the late Rock Fortin and later M. André Potvin, lived in Falardeau. She was the daughter of the late Rolande Barrette and Gabriel Pedneault. Thérèse passed away in Chicoutimi and was born in 1939.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 15:00 at the Complexe funéraire Rive-Nord (Sainte-Claire), in the Chapel Rive-Nord, located at 345, rue St-Armand, Chicoutimi, QC G7G 5B1, Canada. The service will be held on the same day at 15:00 at the Chapel Rive-Nord.

Thérèse's ashes will be deposited at the Emery-Gravel columbarium. The funeral home is the Alliance Funéraire du Royaume.

She is survived by her children: Lise Fortin (Mario Lebreux), Michèle Fortin (Stéphane Lalancette), Dany Fortin (Dany Bergeron), and her grandchildren Maxime, Tania, Gabriel (deceased), Marc-Alexandre, Carol-Ann, Marilyn, Christina, Sabrina, Alexandra, Lisa. She is also remembered by her siblings: Denis Pedneault (Francine Bouchard), Jean Pedneault, André Pedneault, Claire Pedneault (Guy Simon), Yvettes Pedneault, Micheline Pedneault, Monique Pedneault, and many nephews and nieces.
