Yvon Pesant, born in 1949, passed away on August 10, 2026 at the age of 76 at the Hôtel-Dieu de Saint-Hyacinthe. He left behind his wife Marie-Andrée Fortier, children Catherine (François), Virginie (Justin), and Thomas (Naomi), and seven grandchildren. The family expressed their gratitude to the staff of the Hôtel-Dieu de Saint-Hyacinthe and the Résidence funéraire Maska. His funeral was held at the Église de Saint-Marcel-de-Richelieu.
