It is with heavy hearts and much love that we announce the peaceful passing of Yvonne Cécile Benoit (née Fleury) of Rosemère, Québec, on September 1, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in West Byfleet, England on December 3, 1944 to the late Joseph Fleury and Marie Payne, Yvonne was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
Yvonne was the beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Benoit, and October 15th would have marked their 60th wedding anniversary. She was the devoted mother and proud grandmother of Kim (Rey), Diego, and Nico of Toronto, Ontario; Michèle of Burlington, Ontario; and Mark (Zina), Justine (Francis), Victor, Ariana, and Angelo of St. Hippolyte, Quebec. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Stella and Billy. She is survived by her sister June and brother Brian, and many extended family members and friends.
Known for her generosity of heart and unwavering honesty, Yvonne touched the lives of those close to her. She will forever be remembered by her friends and loved ones.
