Aileen Cecilia Coffman, 96, of Nursery, passed away on August 19, 2026. She was born at her grandparent's home in Pleasanton, Texas on September 30, 1929, to the late Vernon Robert "Pete" Coffman and Olivia Mary Ploch Coffman. She loved her flowers, dogs and cats; collected rocks from the Southwest USA; and enjoyed crocheting, needlework and quilting. She kept excellent geological records along with a daily diary. She loved camping on the Texas coast and in east Texas, as well as Colorado. Our mother loved country music and dancing!
She is survived by her four children, Walter Carter of Arizona, Ray Carter of Pipe Creek, Texas, Shelvy Cornish of Nursery, Texas, and Joe Cornish of Yoakum, Texas; five grandchildren; one adopted granddaughter, Chancee Bubela; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
