Alan Lynn Stanko, 66, passed away on October 31, 2025 in Grosse Tete, Louisiana. He was born on January 31, 1959 in Pueblo Colorado to John and Ethel Stanko.
Alan graduated from South High School, Pueblo in June 1977.
In June of 1979 he married Rita Skubie. They were blessed with two sons, Adam (Olivia) and Brian (Deborah) Nicholson.
He later married Karen Renville in August of 1994. She has four sons Joe (Jamie), Jason (Marta), Clayton, and Doug.
Alan worked for Maxcor and CF&I in Pueblo…he started his own business, machining making parts CNC in Fort Carson and motorcycle, he later went to work in Louisiana for Exxon making parts using CNC machining.
At a younger age Alan enjoyed Boy Scouts, motorcycles, hang gliding and riding his Harley Bike. He had attended Harley gatherings in Sturgis, South Dakota. He had a ready laugh, a great sense of humor, enjoyed time with his family and sitting on his porch talking with neighbors.
Alan is survived by his wife Karen, sons, Adam(Olivia), Brian(Deborah) Nicholson. Stepsons, Joe(Jamie), Jason(Marta), Clayton, and Doug. Sister Debra(Ronald) Young, Nieces Vicky(Andrew)Assaranattanakul, Karen Young, 16 Grandchildren and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Ethel Stanko.
