Albina M. Boeckmann, of Rochester, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on August 6, 2026, at the age of 92.
Albina was born in Germany on November 23, 1933, she would later immigrate to the United States. Albina was an amazing cook and also loved to bake. She greatly enjoyed gardening, sewing and knitting in her free time. Above all else she enjoyed being a devoted Oma, as her grandchildren were her greatest passion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna & Vinzenz Stadler; her brothers, Ernst and Karlheinz Stadler; and her beloved husband, Heinz Boeckmann.
She is survived by her loving children, Patrick Polimeni, Beatrice Brunette, Karen (Steve) Donaway, and Joseph (Cecelia) Polimeni; grandchildren: Tracey (John) Stendardo, Patrick Polimeni, Jr., Robert (Erica) DeCarolis, Joseph Polimeni, Jr., Anthony (Lee) Polimeni, Christine Donaway, Steven (Luisa) Donaway, and Vincent (Alexandria) Polimeni; great-grandchildren: McKenzie, Kaelyn, Brianna, Jonathan, Mason, and Isaac. A special thank you goes out to Norma Flugel, for the loving care and friendship she provided to Albina over the last several years.
As per Albina’s wishes, funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
