It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Alda Pinto Azevedo who left us peacefully on May 25th, 2026 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband Adelino Azevedo and leaves behind her beloved daughter Nancy Azevedo (Carl Evers) and grand-children Nicholas Evers (Tanya Thibault) and Megan Evers.
She will also be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her extended family, friends and all those whose lives she touched.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Voluntas Funeral Home, 4695 Boulevard St-Jean, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec H9H 2A7, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A tribute to Alda will be held at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Cedars Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society of Montreal in Alda’s memory.
