Aline Houde

Obituary:On May 26, 2026, at the CIUSSS of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Centre d'hébergement Jacques-Cartier, at the age of 75 years and 11 months, Mrs. Aline Houde, wife of the late Mr. Fernand Fillion, residing in Chicoutimi, passed away. She was the daughter of the late Madame Gilberte Harvey and the late Monsieur Jean-Paul Houde.

She leaves in mourning her children: Claude Fillion (Stéphanie Meilleur), Frédérick (Karine Bouchard), and Audrey (Frédéric Nadeau). She has joined her daughter Anne-Renée.

She also leaves her grandchildren: Catherine, Amélie, Jade, Christopher, Rébéka, Évana, Joey, Matis, Dylan, Terry, Danya, and her great-grandson Raphaël.

She was the sister of: Francine Houde, Gilles (Paulette Gagné), Gérald (Judith Gagné), André (Guylaine Tremblay), the late Mario, Serge, Dany (Nathalie Dionne).

She also leaves behind relatives of Mr. Fernand Fillion, her former daughter-in-law Karine Bouchard, and many nephews, nieces, parents, and friends.

The family sincerely thanks all the staff at CHSLD Jacques-Cartier for the good care, love, and kindness offered to their mother. Your dedication to the residents has always inspired us with great confidence and brought a precious peace of mind.

Funeral Details:A farewell celebration will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of the 5th Season, Complexe funéraire Rive-Nord (Ste-Claire). Family and friends who wish may participate in the Word of Remembrance, which will be broadcast live this Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM and available for replay. She was entrusted to the crematorium of the Alliance Funeral Home and her ashes will be buried at the Saguenay Cemetery / Ecological Sector (St-Honoré).
