It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Alma Chartrand (McNamara) on August 2, 2026, at the age of 102. She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse Chartrand, the daughter of the late John Patrick McNamara and the late Ida Jane Findlay.
She leaves to mourn her sons Maurice, Bernard, Denis, and Philippe; her granddaughters Lisa Marie (Mickaël), and Audrey Anne (Erik); her great-grandchildren Christophe, Bastien, and Koa. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Marie-Paule, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her son Richard.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 1369 La Vérendrye West Boulevard in Gatineau, Quebec. The family will receive condolences beginning at 5 p.m.
