Alvin Albert Green

LEWISTON- Alvin A. Green, 85, of Turner, Maine, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026 at D'Youville Pavilion.He was born on October 13, 1940, the son of Phyllis Tucker and Alden Green.Alvin leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Juanita Green, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and love he is survived by their children and their spouses, Rodney and Michelle, Troy and Doris, Timothy and Belissa, and son Jeffrey; as well as 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Valerie and brother William; and many nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.He was predeceased by his parents, his siblings Bert, Alden, Steve, Gary, and Janice, and his beloved daughter Tina.Alvin was a proud graduate of Leavitt Area High School, Class of 1959. Throughout his life, he worked hard and took pride in his many years as a truck driver and Teamster, as well as his work as a logger. He was known for his strong work ethic, love of the outdoors, and his passion for golf.Those who knew Happy will remember him for his dedication to family, his years of hard work, and the many lives he touched along the way.A graveside service will be held at North Turner Cemetery on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Alvin’s life will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the family home on 25 Green Street, Turner, Maine 04282.
