It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monsieur André Racicot, who passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 85. He was the husband of Madame Lise Roy, the biological son of the late Lucien Racicot and Aldéa Labrosse, and the adopted son from birth of the late Dave Racicot and Yvonne Chénier.
In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his children, Philippe (Pascale) and Stéphane (Agnès), the children of Lise, Frédéric (Marie-France) and Nicolas, his grandchildren Zachary, Sophie, Ana, Catherine, Estelle, Renaud, and Florent. He also leaves his brothers Patrick, Marc, and Pierre, his sisters Myrto, Danielle, Mona, and Darquise, as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Denis, Léo, Cécile, John, and Denise.
A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the COOPERATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 1369, boulevard La Vérendrye Ouest in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences starting at 1:30 PM.
