Angel Fandialan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, family man, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on May 8, 2026, after a courageous year-and-a-half battle with leukemia.

Angel was a man known for his strength, resilience, and deep love for his family. He touched the lives of many through his generosity, humor, wisdom, and unwavering support for those around him.

Above all else, Angel cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Diane (Davis) Fandialan, and a proud father to Lisa (husband Josh Geiger), Brian, and Andrew (wife Sharissa Seger). Angel was also a proud and loving grandfather to Davis Seger Fandialan and Isla Rose Fandialan, who brought immense happiness and light into his life. Nothing brought him greater joy than spending time with his family and watching it grow through the next generation.

Angel is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family members, and many dear friends who will continue to carry his memory forward.

He is survived by his sisters Agnes Fandialan Zamora, whose husband Regalado “Rey” Zamora preceded her in death in 2020; Ida Fandialan Dalmacio and her husband Samuel “Sammy” Dalmacio; Monina Magpantay Fandialan; and his brother Noel Magpantay Fandialan.

He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Christine Marie “Kits” Zamora Rubio and her husband Rover "Obet" D. Rubio, Raymond Ryan “Mond” Zamora, Anthony Charles "Charlie" Dalmacio and his wife Leslie M. "Les" Dalmacio, and Charlene “Yen” Dalmacio Janer and her husband Leopold Joseph O. Janer.

His memory will also be cherished by his grandnieces and grandnephews: Ralph Thomas "Tommy" Zamora Rubio, Aliyah Luisa “Iya” Dalmacio-Javier and her husband Jethro “Jet” Javier, Carlo Miguel "Miko" Dalmacio, Andres Rafael “Rafa” Janer, and Amara Lucilla Janer.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Lynn (Davis) McAndrew in 2005. He will be remembered by his other sister-in-law, Sherri Davis and brother-in-law, Atwood Richardson Mc Andrew III and his three children, Christopher McAndrew and Casey (Giglio) McAndrew, Megan McAndrew, and Atwood Richardson McAndrew IV. His grandnephew Dominic McAndrew, and grandnieces Gianna McAndrew and Skylar Bassett.

During his illness, Angel faced every challenge with courage and grace, surrounded by the love and support of family and friends who stood beside him throughout his journey.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Angel will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM, with a one-hour prior visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, 1730 E Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823.

Though deeply missed, Angel’s love, strength, and spirit will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
