Ann Marie Sanborn

Ann Marie Sanborn, 52, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026.

Born on January 22, 1974, in Ashland, Ann was the beloved daughter of Jack and Diana Hecker. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family.

Ann loved spending time with her grandbabies and cherished every moment she shared with them. She enjoyed reading, working word-find puzzles, playing bingo, and attending family gatherings. Her warm spirit, kind heart, and love for those around her will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Darren Sanborn; her father, Jack Hecker; her children, Crystal (Brandon) Rickels, Darren (Rei) Sanborn Jr., Samantha Sanborn, and Mark Beard; and her 16 beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Kim (Joe), Renee, and Janet Hill; and her brother, Paul.

Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Diana Wingler; her aunt, Jeri; her grandmother, JoAnne Hecker; and her grandfather, Jackie Hecker.

Ann's family will forever treasure the memories they shared with her and the love she gave so freely.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. Family and friends are encouraged to honor her memory in their own way and to cherish time spent with loved ones, just as Ann always did.
