Apolonia Valino Jasmin

Apolonia Valino Jasmin of Congers, NY, 82 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 16, 2026. She was deeply loved by her three sons, two daughters, and sons and daughters-in-law (Jemmuel and Neverly, Albert and Gina, Shiela and Alberto, Dennis and Precious, and Malorie and Marlon). She was also loved by her 17 grandchildren (Jemmuel Jr. and Angela Grace, James Bryan and Charisse Mae, Jeanne, James Edward and Gracielle Dane, Jessica, Adrian, Arabelle, Abigail, Alyssa, Angela Sophia and McCoy, Vince Andre, Marielle, and Matt) and three great-grandchildren (Jemmuel III, Leia Everly, and Elaina Denise). She was predeceased by her loving husband of 46 years, Porfirio.

Apolonia was born in Aduas Centro, Cabanatuan City, Philippines to Pedro and Aguida Valino on March 19, 1944. She married her first love, Porfirio, on November 22, 1965. She was a retired public school teacher of 35 years, prior to migrating to New York to be with her children and grandchildren. She cherished spending time with her family who all made her very proud. Apolonia was the bond that held the entire family together with all her love and devotion. She was a generous mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who cared for everyone even in her last days.
