Arthur Monroe Harbin

Mr. Arthur "Marty" Monroe Harbin, age 70 of Thomaston, died Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Harbin was born on March 15, 1956, in Brunswick, Georgia, to the late Clarence C. Harbin, and the late Dorothy Jean Miller Harbin. Marty was a graduate of Brunswick High School Class of 1974. He worked as a dispatcher at Boaty's Transport and was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy Price Harbin of Thomaston, daughter, Kelly (Tony) Black of Covington, sister, Susan Deborah (Ervin) McKibben of Brunswick, grandchildren, Kaylin (Lonis) McDaniel, Michael (Chelsea) Mayhew, Travis "Payton" Burbage, and five great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from Crystal Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Coggins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
