Barbara Mire Boudreaux, age 81, passed on August 23, 2026, having been born on February 21, 1945, in Jeanerette, Louisiana, and residing in New Iberia, Louisiana.
She is survived by Raymond "Jay" Boudreaux, Jr. (Maria), Sheila Derouen (Randy Derouen), and Angela Boudreaux; by her grandchildren, Jarrod Derouen (Brittany), Michele Derouen (Trevon Brooks), Chantelle Derouen Buteaux (Christian), Ethan Boudreaux, and Avery Boudreaux (Mallory Bass); and by her great-grandchildren, Jardin Brooks, Jaxon Derouen, Brinn Derouen, Ivy Brooks, Johan Boudreaux, and Carsen Boudreaux.
Barbara is also survived by her siblings, Melvin Mire, Effie Mire Lecocq (Donald), Leon Mire (Amanda), and Clyde Mire.
She was preceded in death by Raymond J. Boudreaux, Sr., her husband of 55 years, and by her parents, Lione and Elvina Mire.
