Bethany P. Snider

It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Bethany P. Snider, age 69, formerly of Rensselaer Falls and Hermon, NY on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Syracuse, NY. Bet was born to Clifford and Edna Johnson Snider (Pike) on July 1, 1956. Bet graduated from Heuvelton Central School, Class of 1974. She is survived by her siblings: Alfred(Robin)Snider, Doris Stiles, Freida Snider, Grace(Doug)Yates, and Claude(Cathy)Snider. She was predeceased by her niece Tracy Stiles and brother in law David Stiles. Bet babysat for many families in the Falls in her younger years and still kept a close relationship with the Hammonds. She was a devoted Aunt to her nieces and nephews and their families. She was infamous for sending birthday, anniversary and Christmas cards that were plastered in stickers. She enjoyed watching game shows and soap operas and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Per her request there will be no public services. Burial will be private at Hillcrest Cemetery, Heuvelton, where she will be laid to rest with her parents. Consider a donation in her memory to the Rensselaer Falls or Hermon Volunteer Fire Departments.
