Betty Jane Fox Sands, 88, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Randolph Hospital.She was the daughter of the late Everett and Myrtle Love Fox; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Leroy "Bud" Sands; her brothers, Billy Joe Fox and Jackson Fox; and her sister, Phyllis Goodson.Surviving is her daughter, Dacia J. Sands; son, Roy G. Sands; and her brother, Albert Thomas Fox and his wife, Norma.Betty will lie in repose on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Hickory Grove Traditional Methodist Church Cemetery, 10068 Silk Hope Liberty Road, Siler City, NC.
